  Established in 1964, we are associated with 25 area Lutheran Churches. Our Lutheran churches have associations with both ELCA & LCMS.

 Open to all faiths, our students attend more than 100 area churches; 47% attend a Lutheran church.

Rockford Lutheran Academy

  

  • Stanford testing in grades K – 6. Student’s average 2 - 3 grade levels above the national and state averages. 
  • Ability based grouping in grades 2 – 6 in math and reading.     
  •  Foreign Language – Spanish is taught at all grade levels in PreK – 6.

Sports Teams - Students in grades 5 - 6 are members of the Rock Valley Lutheran Athletic Conference and may compete in cross country, spirit squad, track, volleyball, and wrestling.  Academy students may also participate on Lutheran teams promoted by local organizations in basketball, co-ed soccer and football; these are not school sponsored.

Before/After School Day Care – Our academy has an exemplary Before/After Care Program.  Students are attended to from 6:30 A.M. – 7:45 A.M. for before care and from 3:15 P.M. - 5:30 P.M. for after care.

More than 85% of students who have taken AP tests are successful in receiving college credit.
