Fine Arts

The Junior/Senior High School Fine Arts Program provides many opportunities for individualized and creative development.

Our Fine Arts Department Offers:

• Four unique year-long High School Fine Arts courses
• Award winning Band, Choir and Orchestra groups at Junior High and Senior High levels
• Extensive community and area-wide exhibitions and performances
• Junior High Art and Communication electives
• Three major Drama productions each year, involving both junior and senior high

The fine arts give students the means to become aware and express themselves creatively as well as respond to the artistic expressions of others. Through the fine arts, the students are provided a unique and distinctive way of understanding a link between how man relates to God, nature and society. The study of fine arts includes identifying methods and tools required to produce the basic skills in one of the fine arts, gaining an appreciation of how arts relate to each other and to the daily world around us. As Christians, we also gain an appreciation for how the arts can serve as an expression of, a witness of, and an inspiration of our Christian faith and being.
